Secondary Mentoring Success
Earlier this year the EBP was approached to support a behaviourally challenging year 10 student who was in imminent danger of disaffection. Following the intervention of a business mentor the student in question is now getting A-grades and is turning her back on bad role models in school.
The success of this pilot programme has prompted the school to fund an expansion of the scheme to increase the number of mentors working within the school.
