Dudley Enterprise Challenge 2010/11
Hillcrest School & Community College, Leasowes Community College, Redhill School, The Crestwood School, The High Arcal School, The Kingswinford School, Thorns Community College and The Wordsley School participated in this years Dudley heat of the Black Country Enterprise challenge at Saltwells EDC.
Each school was represented by a team of 8 students who undertook a set challenge that centred around the development of a unique product. The teams, supported by an external business advisor, were given the opportunity to showcase their enterprising, entrepreneurial, technological, financial, team working and presentational skills, all of which were monitored throughout the event by the panel of judges.
Following extensive deliberation from the judges, Leasowes Community College and The Crestwood School were declared winners and will represent Dudley at the Black Country final at the Molineux Wolverhampton January 2011.
